Weekend trip to a summer-house next to Álftavatn (south of Þingvallavatn) together with Kaja, Gerald and Jóna. Two calm and funny days, filled with fine food, lies and snow! Takk!

Interesting exhibition at the museum Kjarvalsstaðir: "The Art of Chess" (but till 13 April only). On display are fifteen very different and more or less artistical chess sets. On the 22 February two professional chess players gave a "show down"- playing at a set named "Modern Chess Set" by Rachel Whiteread. Here some impressions...

During the beginning of February every day some demonstrants protested infront of the state bank - making a big noise to get rid of the CEO David Oddsson... Spontaneous he did not leave, but the parlament enacted a law for droping off Mr. Oddsson.
