25 July 2008 – Djúpavík. Artists and jugglers - shoeboxtour. (21 pictures)

Circus artists in the old herring factory: The jugglers Jay Gilligan from the USA (founder of shoeboxtour), Mirja Jauhiainen from Finland and Erik Aberg from Sweden gave a wonderful show in Djúpavík. More than 60 guests visited this event. More pictures of the tour here.

What a sight in the morning: very strong fog, very calm and silent, no waves. Only the birds kria were very active...

Stefan Erdmann was here and he took many shots in the old herring facroty. So I used this occasion to take pictures of the inner life of the building... Stefan released a great, and very personal and individual DVD about Iceland (have a look here) already. Greeting to you, Stefan.

Trip with the boat Djúpafari to the gulls. They followed us to fetch the rests of the fish we fished.... Tina watched this bright-eyed.

11.00 pm - suddenly a helicopter appeared out from the nowhere, flew over Djúpavík and forther to the east... We think, that they took pictures for the television. The We are looking for any relevant information...
