"STEYPA" - Photography exhibition in Djúpavík - June 1 until August 31, 2013
Seven photographers from Iceland and abroad will take part in this exhibition and show their very personal and individual views on Iceland - also I will show photography. Where? Inside the fascinating old herring factory in Djúpavík daily from June 1 until August 31, 2013, free of charge. More details about STEYPA

8 July 2013 – Around Iceland. Day VII. Siglufjörður - Djúpavík. (20 pictures)
The last day of our trip - but also a very informative one. We spend a lot time in the
Herring Area Museum in Siglufjörður. Very impressive. Inside three houses the history of herring business in Iceland and abroad, the working conditions of the workers and the processing of herring are shown in an very informative and very visual way. Afterwards we drove back to Djúpavík ...

The sixth day - a long drive from Langanes to Siglufjörður. But it was worth the drive. We saw (again) a lot of nice places!

The third day - today from Eskifjörður to Borgarfjörður eystri. It seemed to be a sedatevillage, this Bakkagerði, but is was very different ... And the way to Bakkagerði was also very nice ...

1 July 2013 – Between Djúpavík and Reykjavík. A flight. (16 pictures)
This time a planed flight from Gjögur/Djúpavík to Reykjavík, because I had one week vacation! One week driving around Iceland - but mainly visiting the east and northeast of Iceland. Yes, but first the flight today.
